Following a separation you may find yourself in a position whereby you wish to discuss your finances and possible settlements and this can quite often be an area of dispute.

Therefore here at Mackenzie Jones we would be more than happy to assist you and provide you with all the advice you would need in order to try and negotiate a financial settlement. We are keen to try and reduce the amount of conflict the separation can cause but still obtain the best result for you. 

If negotiations are unsuccessful, disputes arise or communication breaks down then court proceedings may be necessary, however this is always a last resort. 

Alternatively, it may be that you are separating from a partner but a divorce is not applicable. If this is the case then we can try and assist you in the financial matters by using our negotiation skills and drafting any agreement into a deed of separation. 

More recently we have also found that more and more clients are seeking advice in respect of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements. We are therefore able to provide you with advice in respect of this if you so wish.
