Franchising

A franchise is a form of business organisation in which a business who already has a successful product or service (franchisor) enters into a continuing contractual relationship with other businesses operating under the franchisor's trade name and usually with the franchisors guidance, in exchange for a fee.

We assist our clients in preparing franchise agreements which set out the main terms on which a franchisee operates.

These contain terms dealing with the length of the franchise agreement, the appointed territory, fees payable to the franchisor, support, restrictions and termination provisions.

We can also provide assistance with compiling the Operating Manual which details the day to day operational requirements of the franchisor.
